Founded in 2005, the Seven Roses Legacy Foundation is the powerhouse charitable arm of the Eta Nu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Our mission is robust: to uplift the Brooklyn community by empowering youth to break barriers, expand their cultural and social horizons, master financial literacy, and seize higher education opportunities. Focused on students from economically challenged neighborhoods, we are committed to transforming lives and opening doors to brighter futures in Brooklyn.

Since its chartering in 1991, Eta Nu Sigma has been on a mission to serve Brooklyn with purpose and impact. Our community initiatives are bold and far-reaching. We've expanded our SWIM 1922 National Program to align with World Drowning Prevention Day, amplifying our efforts to save lives through water safety education and drowning prevention. Through our signature Wee Savers program, we empower youth with financial literacy workshops, preparing them for a successful future. Our Operation Big Book Bag initiative delivers hundreds of dollars worth of school supplies to underserved students, ensuring they have the tools they need to thrive. From hosting voter registration drives at Medgar Evers College to tackling the mental health crisis with our Mental Health Day programs, we’re dedicated to uplifting Brooklyn. Eta Nu Sigma doesn’t just talk about service—we make it happen.
